A Sneaky $12B Bailout for Farmers was Inside the $95B Iran War Budget Bill

And nobody will probably talk about it.

I talk a lot about media literacy and reading beyond the headlines and this is a perfect example of that because one thing I noticed that will get buried in the news cycle around the House passing a budget bill that includes $95billion with a majority going towards further funds for to “finish” the war in Iran was a $12billion bailout for Soy and Corn farmers in the midwest.

We’ve mostly moved on from tariff conversations because it’s just not as “sexy” to talk about a year and a half later but they are still heavily crippling the agriculture industry (which I predicated in March 2025 would happen) and they have done absolutely nothing to actually increase agriculture resiliency, growth and revenue and, in fact, have done the exact opposite.

Again. Not the sexiest headline but something worth pointing out in my opinion.
