The past few days the coverage I’ve seen on the progressive side of politics has been mostly poking fun at the event. Between Tucker Carlson and Ben Shapiro fighting with each other, Eric Kirk’s pyrotechnics and Nicki Minaj selling her soul, there’s been a lot to talk about.
None of it matters.
What matters is that Turning Point has hundreds of millions of dollars, currently has over 3,000 local chapters on high school and college campuses and are creating the largest movement of conservative politics since the conservative coalition started by Jerry Falwell in the 1970/1980s.
And we have no solution to it.
The DNC has to prioritize combatting the ground game on college and high school campuses and they have to do it ASAP because this isn’t about election strategy. This is about supplanting and indoctrinating young people for generations.
