Last week I had the unique opportunity to travel to Harrisburg, PA from NYC to have a 25 minute interview with Pennsylvania Governor, Josh Shapiro.
What was supposed to be a 8-hour commute turned into 11 hours after multiple train delays. After getting picked up at the train station by one of his aides, I was rushed to the Governor’s mansion, given 10 minutes to collect myself before I was brought into the interview.
As someone who does not self-identify as a journalist and maintains a position as an independent political and economic analyst and commentator, I am eternally grateful for these opportunities and for your support that helps make them happen.
Disclaimer: I was not paid or compensated for this interview and had to pay for my own commute to and from Harrisburg as well as an external editor to help create this footage. I still maintain a career as a data-focused marketing consultant and create content part-time. Any support upgrading to a paid subscriber for $5/month or $50/year goes a long way to allow me to continue to do these interviews. Not only am I paying for these, myself, but I am losing possible income as a consultant in the process. Please consider upgrading to a paid subscriber to support my work.
